Can someone please help me!! I'm going to kill myself!!

Using hammer4.0 for creating some fairly basic maps, im new to this but already addicted. However, i managed to get a virus onto my system some how, and ended up formatting hard-drive coz I got stressed. Although i backed-up hammer, i didn't vvis, etc. Can some1 direct me where I can get these tools back, not steam - 2 many probs!!

ok just save your .vmf map files and textures etc. the uninstall steam."this is the only way" once you have finished. reinstall steam downloader from steampowered.com and reinstall your games/ tools. ps: never backup steam files when reformatting for virus reasons, steam doesnt like the different path names. just save the files you want then start again. believe me, ive had to do this many times.

Erm, you have to use Steam for Hammer... then get the SDK in the same way you did before.
