Here are some very early shots from my upcoming singleplayer campaign entitled "Day 13".

I'm not ready to release the maps themselves yet, which is why this isn't in the vault, but I want to wait until it's more or less finished first.

Hope these pics wet your appetite.

Estimated time of arrival is 5-6 weeks.

Doesn't look too shabby - Like the rocks, though they're a little exxagerated in terms of their formations ;]

Lighting looks a little pale/desaturated in some of the shots, as well, which kind of reduces the feel - That how it really is or just a post-effect from the screenshots?

(Oh, future tip - Take your shots with r_Drawviewmodel 0 and cl_Drawhud 0 set. Gets rid of the HUD and weapon and makes things a bit cleaner looking.)

I had to brighten the screenshots by about 30%, because for some reason they came out a lot darker than they look in-game. That might contribute to that washed out look .... but it'll also be because lighting is one of my weakest points still.

And I agree with you on the rocks, but none of this is finished, I'll smooth them out somewhat.

Ah, okay. Just checking. I know, screenshots always seem to come out really dark (I guess it's a differential between the game's gamma and the monitor's at the desktop.)

Woah looking good but those rocks look so pointy they might as well have trigger_hurt on them :P

Looks nice, decently different from HL? itself. The lighting does look to be a little dark from the shots, but that could be the gamma (hint: adjust gamma in future, not brightness; it's different, and the gamma is what makes it seem brighter in-game).

The rocks need to be a bit smoother, otherwise it looks great. good texturing!

Spag, try hitting Ctrl+ F5, thatll refresh the page and clear the cash for the page, it might have saved wrong

Yeah Kasperg, it's got a story. I won't go into too much detail yet (don't want to spoil it) but basically, you're Gordon Freeman in an alternate dimension.

You remember when those metropolice near the start of HL2 knock you out ? Well in this timeline -- Alyx wasn't there to save you.

You wake up in one of the Republic's "Re-education facilities" where you have been for the past 12 days and nights, being forced to endure series after series of bizarre tests, or "simulations".

As you wake up on day 13, you wonder if you will ever get the chance to escape.......;)
