hi all,

i am new to this forum. i cant use the texture switching. every time i try but i only get a blank screen. also can anybody tell me how to connect 2 rooms using a corridor

Make sure there is a +0 before the name of the 'on' texture and +A before the 'off' texture!

this is meant to go into HL1 mapping questions anyway.

cant switching textures be done by making it a function wall (make sure you've got one of the animating textures), give the func_wall a name and trigger it. Would'nt that work? Of cource other alternatives would work (like using animated/changing textures as a button)
