I was making a new map..

You are in a building that is exacly 6000.22 units tall.. with a skybox, over 8000 units + tall..
The map contains 2 nps waiting for rappel and a ragdoll entity and a crowbar..

When I tested the map, I saw this: Screenshot

It ex-changes the weapon and crosshair sprites with letters and numbers!

Is this some update bug? Or does it have with my map to do?
I guessed, that the map is too tall or something..
But I am not an expert on Source bugs..

You mean that Q in the middle?

For example,, you can also se letters in the weapon menu.. :S

Is that Q in the middle of the screen the problem, or is the weapon-scroller the problem?

And shouldn't this be in the HL2 forum, or is this a minimod?

The problem is that you font got messed up, try rebooting or delete the HL2.ttf file from your Halflife2 directory.

Its missing the hl2.ttf

That should fix 'er up!

Its a known bug that comes with HL2.

Here are the correct font and crosshair ttf files:
