REAL HELP ! Yesterday night I deleted HL1 because opposing force took over it (Title screen : opposing force.. ..Guns : opposing force ....).
NOW I've lost my CD-KEY And now , I Cannot play HL or Map with Valve!

He lost his cd-key, wich seems unlikely to me since if he uses steam it will be linked to his account. And if he doesnt have steam then he should have the cd-key on his packeging.
And otherwise he could be using a illegal warez version.

There's not much you can do. New copies of HL are under a few dollars (USD anyhoo) at most game stores in the used section I find.

Also, install HL normal, then with steam... That means you have both.
( i hate playing HL1 with steam. Just takes 30 secs more in between maps to load and it has that butt-ugly loading screen)

Hell, level changes in HL1 are instant for me, may be because I am currently on UltraSCSI 320 with my expensive 15k RPM Seagate disks though
