I swear I was just going to make a thread like this--collective consiousness biting me in the back again! :)

All my friends hated it, but I thought Sin City was a masterpiece.

I liked The Island as well.

The last film I saw at the cinema was "A Sound of Thunder". Some parts were so ridiculous I actually had a great time watching it with some friends!! :D

It's highly unlikely that any of you has even heard of this film, but it's an obscure movie set in the 1960's Hong Kong. The Chinese director also directed "In the Mood for Love" previously, and Quentin Tarantino is one of his biggest fans.

The movie is titled "2064", it's a futuristic film about desperate and despondent love. It's very stylish. And most of you probably won't like it.

Batman begins was my most recent movie, but that was maybe 2 or 3 months ago. It was pretty good, voice acting could have been better but I still liked it.

The Hitchiker's film was lame. They cut out practically all the proper jokes and put in some dumb SIMPLE AMERICAN HUMOR... and what the fuck? Why was Marvin a cross between a Teletubby and a Furby!? :furious:

The book, however, was mmmmmm so good. I've read all 5, twice. They just never cease.

pwnage crap?!!?! pwnage is teh 1337 roxorz! not crap!

But you were right. Hitchhikers file = Terrible american unfunny humour.
StarWars 1,2,3 = The worst pile of shitty dialougue in the world! and on top of that, the acting was appauling.

Rofl, and the plot devices in The Hitchhikers. You can almost love it just for the obvious shittiness. The rverse psycology gun or whatever it is. biggest plot device since LOTRII

Favourite movie is 'Saving Private Ryan' followed closely by 'Enemy at the Gates' and again by "The Green Mile"

Dude wheres my car is a heap of american humourless shit! I hate Ashton Crotchor!

"Huh huh huh! You've been Punk'd"

"FUCK OFF!"

Also there seems to be nothing but shit in the cinemas here at the moment. Dukes of Hazard or fuckin films that are supposed to be scary.

Films are not and never will be scary. Unless your 5 years old or less.
