as well as doing the mod from "mod storyline" i'd like to make a spirit mod. if anyone wants to help, please say so.

I'd love to make it a spirit mod, but not everyone understands or can be bothered to get spirit. So I think we should just stick with original hl. Or alternatively, the project leaders could have spirit and anyone else maps for both spirit and original hl. Most people want original hl, so I think we should use that.

Also consider that anyone who wants to play our mod would also need spirit... I think it would be a shame if the first official TWHL mod was for "spiriters only" :( ...Methinks stick with origional.

spirit is not a big download, we could put it in with the final download. Problem solved.

No, you don't need spirit to get it to work. Just use spirit's spirit.dll and client.dll. And also, you'd need to include the aurora files and sprites (rain.spr, null.spr etc.).

YOU DONT NEED SPIRIT TO PLAY A SPIRIT MOD!!! Just get the source code and compile it and put it in ur mod! Look at DoD, that is spirit!!!

if people (like me ) are too lazy to get spirit, why not make the map, send it to someone with spirit, let them do the final touches and there you have it.

uh what about you have to have spirit to make the mod and compile the dll's in the final version so normal hl'ers can play it.
