Ok, here is my problem (the topic says it all, really, but anyway.)
I made a normal door EXACLY after THIS tutorial (exacly = same textures and settings)
ok, and now, the door only opens once from one of the sides.
You can still open from the other side though (I think, Don't really remember that)

Do you guys know what the problem is be cause I think it worked before. :S

Elon: no, I didn't. :S I thought that was the problem my self first but, no. Very weird..

make a trigger once that triggers the door. You'll be able to open the door only once that way.

I mean, a button with the target of the doors name should work, right?

ah. So just make a rotating door. hthats it. no need for fancy stuff. Make a trigger if you want but it's optional.

You didn't bring these up, so I'm going to ask:

1. The door is a func_door_rotating, correct? Did you add a origin brush at the point you want it to rotate/swing/whatever?
2. Is the space big enough for the door?
3. Did you set the compass like this: ( ' ) ? That usually sets the door to open by moving forwards or backwards, which usually doesn't work.

Also try ticking the X or Y flags, or fiddling with the Pitch/Yaw/Roll and see what happens.

If he wont have an origin the door will spin around the middle of the map and the door can move through walls and everything so the space it has doesn't metter! :P

Ok, just texture a brush with AAATRIGGER and turn it into a trigger_multiple in the area that you should stand in to trigger the door. Set its target to the name of the door. Make sure to set the delay before reset on the trigger to a positive number like 6. Also make sure to set the delay before close on the door to a positive number such as 4. The "one way" flag when checked will open the door then close it like most doors do. If unchecked, the door will swing either clockwise OR counterclockwise to the amount of degrees you specify. So you'd get a door that opens out of a room, then closes, then opens into a room, and closes. Dang, I hope this isn't confusing. Seriously though, there's a lot of tutorials on how to make these things work. Just find a thorough one.

Without that trigger you can only open the door from one side with the "use" key if the "one way" flag is checked.

Ok, none of the ideas worked, so I'll try go with trigger_multiple as Iron said. :/
And if that doesn't work,, then, it's just weird! O.o

I give up, the trigger_multiple didn't work ether, and when I tested, both of the doors started to spin 180 degreeds.
I give up rotating doors, it's just sick!

Well, to make my door swing and stuff, I just added a small origin brush to the left edge of a func_door_rotating, then set either the X or Y flag on, I can't remember which. Worked for me. Opened either way both sides. Make a new door and try that out.

I always make rotating doors stay open for most roatating dorrs usally don't close after 4 seconds after you opened them. ;)

Hmm... I wonder if there are any example maps in the vault that would solve your problem. But don't give up. I remember fiddling around with doors for a week or two before really understanding them. :)

See if your door isn't stuck in the floor, ceiling, wall or any other brush. I happened to me once, and that was the problem. :)

Well, the orgin brush did go in 1 unit into the wall, and the door and the orgin brush are grouped, so, that might be the problem! :)

The short answer is it's a bug.

Good news is there are a myriad of workarounds, one of the better ones listed at the end of the thread I mentioned in my last post, by BlueShift.

Though, since this thread seems to be recurring, maybe we should do an example map for it... :
