** Executing...
** Command: Copy File
** Parameters: "g:aim_spectro.pts" "C:SIERRAHalf-Lifecstrikemapsaim_spectro.pts"

The command failed. Windows reported the error:
"O sistema n?o conseguiu localizar o ficheiro especificado."

this is the errortaha is reported when I try to compile the map I think some help would be great here. :(

... Errr... It MUST come with other error, I mean, there are times that compiler failes SO miserably to compile that doesn?t even writes the file... Take a look at the log and find the error, fix it and we?re done :).
Make also sure that the Hard Disk drive you?re working on is G: (sounds strange to me).
By the way, Brazilian or Portuguese ;). Welcome to TWHL.

It could mean u have a leak somewhere in ur level and the compiler isn't generating the pts file. Look for those leaks!!!

"O sistema n?o conseguiu localizar o ficheiro especificado."

"The system cannot find the file specified"

(roughly, I presume)

This is a compile tools configuration issue, almost certainly. Check it's all set up properly - if you're not sure, read the Compiling Introduced tutorial on this site.

Also....
G drive to C Drive ?
Compiling across drives can cause problems.

To help us sort this out, can you post the whole compile log? Because all I can tell from this is that it is trying to copy one of the tools final part files to your map folder.
More input.... please

The drive is g: because I put all my maps ina a memory flash. I realy can?t understand the problem can I fix it. Tahnk you for being so "friendly"(I can?'t find the words) to forigners. And by the way I am Portuguese. And I realy want to fix the problem ;)

So you?re Portuguese!!!. Good!!!. I?m gonna help my neighbour (foreigner also :P).
Let?s see, we?re gonna do the following things:
-Try compiling in a Hard Disk drive, preferently the same in which Hammer is.
-If doesn?t work, look at the text that appears during compiling. You should see a "Copy" button below the whole text (that text is the log). Copy the whole log and paste it here, sometimes happens a bad error that doesn?t allow the compiler to write files.
-Put the map in the vault if you want, I?ll take a look at it and try to compile it myself (or whoever who wants to ;). If you?re going to do this don?t forget to tell us!!!.
Anyway, I have the feeling that is the G: thing... Have you done any other maps?. Have you compiled them that way?.

Did you put an info_player_start and/or info_player_deathmatch in your map? It is required for the map to compile.

An error that doesn?t allow you to compile... Use ZHTL and use NinjaGrinch wise words... Also check out for rooms with no entities and no connection to the world.
