There was some talk about this over on the forum, thought I'd make an example map. Hit the button and the door opens, pouring wonderful yellow light into the room, a la c0a0c. The light moves with the door, and it looks pretty darn good, although it's a door so it's solid. Same setup non-solid can be done with a func_train. A relatively simple trick, BSP and RMF included.

Ever heard of the Flag 'Passable'? :) Also, please don't use non-standard .wad files when compiling. I currently don't have OpFor installed.

As for the effect, nicely recreated.

Oops. Thought I got rid of my OpFor wad a while ago. My bad. As for passable, thanks for the info. It's so much easier with a door than a train, and I can never manage to get the thing exactly right with path corners.

Ahh thanks! I'll check this out when I get home (school atm). Unfortunately I have already shown the project in my english class that I needed this effect for but I might put it in for the public release.
