This is a HL map set just before the disaster at Black Mesa. As it is unfinished the map ends just after the Barney has used the retinal scanner-in the room with the propaganda/adverts on the walls.

Uh, didn't actually work on mine, just stopped as a can suddenly appeared on the floor next to the two scis standing :S

No offence or anything, but I really hate this. Sorry to be so negative, but it has all sorts of problems: Masked textures still having blue in them, having to duck to access the bit with the retinal scanner, a chance of dying when collecting your suit (Clip brushes, maybe?). And a leak. Also, why do the doors, propaganda ads etc. jut out of the walls? Sorry, but this needs some serious work on it.

Hey. check my "A day at the office" map if you think I think I'm better than you. It's one of the worst maps I've ever created! About the only decent map I have here is mini mesa.

You're right. It really does need some serious work. I am improving it at the moment but might just scrap it-it is slightly boring making a map with no action or anything in it.

I make predisaster maps a lot of the time, and enjoy them. The problem is that everywhere is so cramped and there's a chance of DYING! And what's with the slave? And the death ray protecting him. My advice: If you want to do a PD map, make it much less cramped, use DECENT lighting, do not have leaks, and make sure it's enjoyable. At least more so. And improve those awful wall textures! One last note: Doors and posters don't usually jut out of walls.

This has first map written all over it. A nice little foray into mapping, but I hope you've improved since then.
