Well folks, I think I finally got a CS:S map I want to use on my server.

Download it, and let me know what you think. What can be added? Changed?

BTW - the lighting in the screenshot is already changed in the map. I just didnt feel like making another screenie.

.nav file included is for bots.

From the screen shot I can see that it direly lacks detail, interesting texturing and props.

To be entirely honest I don't see a differentiation from Source and HL1 engines. Spend some time on detail physics props - cans, bottles, trash, etc - and functional static props - Detail conduits, pipes, ropes, etcetera.

I downloaded this map... the lighting is pretty generic, and the maze setup in the main arena is confusing. Perhaps you could place some decals stating where the CT and T spawns are?

You have 4 hallways, each with 4 rooms at the end of a hallway. Bottleneck. Maybe branch them each out.

And Rabidmonkey has a point - place some stuff in the way to duck behind or perhaps a ladder to climb up the main arena.

UM, the final version better look alot better cuz this is HL1 looking, bet worse. NO detail, architexture (Im assuming you will add them) No decals, overlays, no proper lighting, OMG, and buildcubemaps please.
