Hi all!

The background for this map is: Terrorists camp at ruined building on the construction site. They have killed two construction workers, others managed to flee. Now they have nothing to loose. CTs are going to storm the front.

Everyone wins a free AWP!

This map needs tuning in terms of balance - this is sure. I would add a model of bulldozer as soon as I find or create one. All ideas, comments, criticism are really appreciated.

-It needs something in the middle to fill the open spaces. But since this map is unfinished, it looks great :)

Yeah, you are right, I was planning to put a dozer in the middle, but did not get the model for the moment. Also I've tried to make a deathmatch version of this map, ans CTs seem to loose very fast. Need to do something about that.

The only sound I've added so far -- try to crawl far enough into the tube in the ditch. I will think adding some ambient when I finish. About the ditch - yes, I need to make it more realistic

New update on this map.

Following your kind remarks and my considerations, I've done the following.
  • added ambient sounds and sound enironment types
  • added some possibilities to cross the ditch in teh middle
  • added a breakable lamp in the T's building
  • added a shootable barrel in the T's building
  • some ornamental job like dirty water runs on the wall, concrete cracks, some mud on the wall, and numbers printed on the crates.
  • made crates/planks sound "woodsy" and pipes/barrels sound "metallic" when you shoot them.
Still to be done:
  • a dozer in the middle
  • more realistic ditch
  • try to add an "enter-able" pipe duct on the CT's side
  • try to make aim_, dm_ and de_ versions

+nice architecture, if not a little blocky in spots.
-maybe could use some more fine detail items...
-There are some 'sticky' points in the map, like by the stack of pipes--which looked nice btw ;). Try running '-cliptype precise' command under CSG to try to fix this. Check here: http://www.zhlt.info/settings-for-final-compiles.html for more info.

Giving this a 4 because if I have to play an AWP map, I hope it's this one. Good job on the texturing!
