This is the first map to teach begginer surfers how to surf. Expereinced surfers can also enhance there skills sith still the fun of a surf map very much in!

Great work on the map - Its surprisingly good fun and a really good "tutorial", however its very difficult for a n00b like me - Has to pass the "jump even higher" section using sv_gravity 20...:D
It looks like you have covered the basics pretty well! I think beginners would find this helpful. I'd like to say two things to any beginners though, which were left out: 1) Surf maps are meant to be played with sv_airaccelerate set to 100 (the default is 10). So when you start a surf map, open up the console and type "sv_airaccelerate 100" and you will have a lot more control when surfing. 2) When surfing you don't need to use W (forward) or S (backward). So forget about those keys as soon as you hit the ramp 3) When playing on a modern computer, make sure "fps_max" isn't too high or else you'll occasionally suddenly lose all your speed on a ramp because of how the game handles player movement and physics
