Finally, CCTV for Half-Life. There are two cameras on this system, showing two different corridors. Switch between them by pressing the red button. Also, smash the control panel for a system shutdown. This example map makes use of entities such as:

Multi-managers
Renders
Buttons
Trains
...and much more

This is a great effect that although is a little obvious, works OK. No coding was involved, this was designed solely using Hammer 3.5. There is a custom wad which includes one texture, - the one I created for the bad signal effect on the screen.

Have fun!!

Compile Time: < 1 minute

I know the mapping ain't great, but hey, its an example map, so get over it!! ;) don't waste my time by moaning about the box around the moving corridors, coz i couldn't give a shit!

(mod-format due to included .wad)

Did you made a mod folder just becuase you used a custom wad file? Never heard of wadinclude before?

Otherwise, nice!

well, I meant to also include a sound effect, but that went through the window, and i didn't bother changing it back from mod-format. also, I forgot!

Not your best innovation among the many you've created here, but the "fuzzy tv" effect looks cool, and it's still a neat idea.

Part of the problem too, is that you're not really fooled because of the scale/direction of the supposed camera. It "looks" like the hallway continues on from the room, not a camera shot.

If you make the scale of teh whatever is supposed to appear on the screen smaller, and give an off angle like 30 degrees or so, it would be much improved imo.

Perhaps with some minor changes, This could be much improved ;)!
