Just an average aimmap with an interesting twist to it ;-)

i hate to say it but hardly anybody will download these...

TWHL is a place for professional mappers to show off their work, and for new/beginner mappers to learn.

Things that people look for in a good map on this site:

1) good brushwork
2) good lighting
3) Interesting theme
4) good layout
5) good gameplay
6) good texturing

This map, sadly has none of these things.

Put your skills to good use and make a de or cs map. Awp and aim maps are all the same. Make something new.

For some reason I doubt that you hated to say it. =o)
Thank you so much for representing the TWHL and informing us newcomers that our maps ain't wanted basically. Also, thanks alot for taking the time to download (you DID download the map right?) and testing the gameplay and all of the things you claim this map sadly lacks. Actually, it is dead easy to tell from your comments that you are way off. This isn't a new map. It has been thoroughly playtested as well as 'played' for real, and the gameplay is good.

I don't mind criticism, but to take it I at least expect the person to actually LOOK at the things he is about to criticise. From your comments I seriously doubt you did. If you think you did look at it, then by all means give concrete examples instead of general stuff.

Downloads are back up again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The download site doesn't really work well for me.

Try linking directly to the file, not just the download page.

You can always use www.fileupyours.com for some quick & free uploading.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience that you have to click twice on download, first here and then when you get to our page Daubster. However I'm sure you can mangage the effort to click on the blue arrow to get the download.

It's not the point. Just get some proper hosting or link properly, period.

That is, if you want people to actually look at your maps ;)

Download link changed to point at the file directly.

Like Hunter said, this site is for mappers to show off their skills to other mappers. It doesn't really focus on gameplay. A map with good gameplay but horrible mapping/texturing/what ever, will get a VERY bad rating here. Because I, as well as most of the people here thinks a map should always look good.

Also I absolutely REFUSE to play a map named, "pup_usp_aim_canyon" What is with the name man? It is so freaking long! That also is a sign that the map focuses on gameplay rather than mapping. The one thing I CAN'T STAND is when mappers name their maps like, "fos_sks_24d_surf_abcd"

Exos:

Seeing that you only are 16 years old, I will try to be nice to you. I don't exactly care what children think about my skills or what I should do on a site or not. Who the f*** do you think you are? A child with pimples who is playing the game illegally? I don't want to know what you and other mappers do in the club of mutual admiration.

Also you absolutely REFUSE to use your brain. What is with that man?
What is that a sign of? No wait...don't bother telling me. What makes you think people actually care what YOU THINK about their naming conventions? (yes, that is what it is called in the REAL WORLD)

And for the love of God...please enlighten us WHY OH WHY you have named one of your own maps using that syntax?
aim_ak_colt_pro that is......

Would you know if a map looks good anyway? I mean, with your head stuck that far up your a** is would be hard to tell..

Go back to playing Nintendo and STFU.

Don't ever open your mouth again until you
1) are 18 years old and can play games intended for adults.
2) know what the hell you are whining about.
3) learn to show proper respect to other living beings.
4) actually got something creative to say.

NO! Just STFU!

Well we thought this was a forum for mappers, where we could show our work

and get some constructive critisism. Not that we doubt the things we do,

but sometimes it's good with a non partial opinion.

No we have never expected everyone to love our maps. But to be totally put

down by children who obviously haven't even looked at the map instead of

getting opinions from fellow mappers... This judging maps from one blurry

screenshot and a description is hardly what I would call professional,

because that is what you call yourself. Well we won't submit any more maps to this club of mutual admiration. For those who would like to see more SadPuppy and Shizuka maps (and there will be more releases and very good ones) check our website http://addicted2.org/dungeon we'll post screens and news there as well as downloads.

If this is how you greet every newcomer you will have your site to

yourselves and those who think alike. Telling newcomers that their maps

are not wanted and telling them they are just awful mappers won't get the community a good reputation and won't make it grow.

Helping newcomers and giving good constructive critisism (yes, that means look at their maps and trying the maps) would make this site so much better and might even make newcomers post more of their work.
