A good thing to note: This map was compiled for the HL1 mod, Sven Co-op. If enough people complain of that i can re-compile it for HL1.
This is the first map I'm sharing with the public, and please use harsh criticism, it helps me improve =D.

September 9th, 1942

You've made it... You've blasted your way through yards of solid rock to get here, one of the storage rooms of this huge labyrinth labeled as Facility 09, which to a select few is known as a secret nuclear weapons testing facility, funded by the Nazi government. From the little information your commander has given you, you know that the heartless scientists perform tests on Jews, the mentally challenged and physically impaired. It's here they're developing deadly uses of nuclear power to use in the current World War... If they discover the full potential of this new source of power it will devastate our army and plow the way towards them winning the war. If this happens...I cannot imagine what will lie in our future, if there would be one at all. Stay on your feet, though, none of us can begin to imagine what horrible deformed creatures may be lurking in this condemned place. Be careful of tripping any security systems this place may have... there must be hordes of unimaginable technology none of us have ever seen here... expect the unexpected...

EDIT: After the big stairwell, you will see a greenish lab. At the moment there is nothing in it but I'm working on a little scripted_sequence to put in it.
