Example map on how to make an armed grenade fall out of a vent in Spirit.
You can simplify this using a monstermaker to spawn the armed grenade entity, if you can figure out what it's called, that is.
Thanks goes to The Mighty Atom/Muzzleflash, Chickenfist, and fold for help, advice, and inspiration.

It's not really that hard, just time consuming. I had a hard time getting the speed to an OK value.

I think it would be easier to use an env_shooter and a simple env_explosion. Still, neat example. :]

I tried that, the env_shooter would make the grenade fall under the floor, with only a bit of it showing. I tried all the other methods possible with a vent, to no avail.

Tried combining your shooter with a monster_furniture (grenade model), showing up as the shot nade hits the ground?

Nah, too much work. I'm done with that sequence, so I don't want to ge back to it.
And thanks Cstriker! I'm glad I can actually help someone! (I'll take what I can get rating-wise, too)

I haven't actually looked at how you did this, but why is Spirit necessary? I can think off the top of my head the couple entities I'd need to make it work in regular 'ol Goldsrc. I'm probably missing something, as I've never used Spirit.

Movewith to make the env_model (grenade) follow the func_train. I'm using models because they are better.
