going through my old .rmf's I found this map (arthalf) and wanted to get a version out for gungame. Half the map is not there and i decided i would have to split it into two maps. there was another building on the other side of the street. Its for condition zero but please if you have a chance look at it and help me figure out why it runs so slow. if you see any fix please let me know. thanks in advance

I already see a possible problem. Those couches should all be one func_wall or just not touching the groung and if they are they split it many many times. Same goes for the stairs and the wall.

yeah, use func_wall and func_illusionary (for things the player can't reach) liberally.
I haven't downloaded the map, but you may want to make sure you're running normal vis as well.

i tried all these things and upped the textures but still so laggy. i guess its the engine? too many things going on. i think i can copy to source but this kind of stuff makes me so frustrated. open a college so i can take a class
