A HL1DM map, created for the 'The Whole Half Life' competition 31: Industrial theme. The idea is that players have to scramble to the upper sections of the map to obtain the better weapons, however getting quickly down to the killing fields again through the incinerator shaft shortcuts proves tricky if someone has turned on the Incinerators!

A very solid entry although some issues lurk in the underbelly..

++really cool layout imo
++Cool gagetry! is there more cool stuff like the incinerator?
+decent ambience
+/-Nicely detailed in some ares and lacking in others
+/-some nice lighting in areas
+/-good use of the texture pack in areas, dreadful in others, and there scaling is a little crazy in places.
-scale is a bit off in a lot of places
-not a lot of small detailing in terms of wall/railing trims, props, etc

All in all a pretty solid entry though, despite the negatives. Looks like the layout would be really fun. Maybe PM potato_invalido and he could put it on the HLDM server to test.

Good map, lots of room for improvement, but some very nice bits just the same. 3.5 rounds up to 4. Could easily recieve full marks with some slight improvements.

I'd put it on, if downloading didn't require me to give away my email address.
