takemetoyourdj - A bizarre map where you defend a dance club from terrorists to maintain intergalactic harmony.
Been wanting to make a bizarre map like NIPPER's many maps of this genre for some time now.
Drive around in Barbie's fancy Barbie Mobile or on a gigantic washed up blue crab.
Get eaten by a giant Hungry Hungry Hippo.
Dance with aliens and hot babes.

First I gotta ask, is it supposed to be a run around and look at all the goofiness kind of map without gameplay? Since becuase I wasn't given an HEV suit and there were no weapons in the map, I'm going to assume it is.
It looks pretty good, I like the variaty in the environments. Allthough standing in the middle of a sprite dancer looks scary

Overall, i liked it. Thought it was a Nipper map when i saw the screenshot @ vault section. Definitely feels like one of his works, save for a couple of dead ends. Now to actually find a server to play it...

Likes
-multiple fun & diversely-themed areas are great
-great brush construction for the most part
-great use of sprites
-neat gadgets like the fans and Hippo heads and such
-fun music
-func_vehicle Barbiemobile!!
Dislikes
-texturing seems a little generic/monochrome in areas(it fits the surreal theme doe)
-same as above for lighting.
-some inconsistent quality, e.g., the lighthouse exterior looks fabulous, but inside blocky/plain.
-scale of some things a bit weird, but again fits the surreal theme.
-aformentioned dead ends, easily fixed with a crazy teleport or trapdoor maybe.
Knowing you I'm sure the gameplay is balanced and good. My favorite part was probably the nightclub and the sexy-dancing sprite lady(which was really well done btw). If you were to update this down the road, I'd like to see the organic/flesh parts(like inside the hippo) explored more, and perhaps some jump-scare stuff that I know you're good at
