I moved the indoor bombsite out from under the CT spawn and into the outdoor area next to it. I blocked off the road running alongside the building that formerly contained the bombsite and added another opening to the building to force players through it. I closed off a different opening in the same building and added a crate outside door leading to mid to give CTs a bit more cover when covering that intersection. The goal is to hopefully make the map a bit more CT friendly.
A small crate has been added on top of the vending machines in the other bombsite to make boosting back up onto the bridge a slightly more viable option.
The fences on the CT bridge and the ones surrounding the crates below have been changed from func_wall entities to func_illusionary entities accompanied by clip brushes to allow all bullets to pass through unhindered as well as grenades.
Some new "simple cartoon" textures that I've created over time since finishing de_msx1 have been added as well as some new minor details. Some of the vending machines in T spawn have been replaced by a crane holding a container over the spawn. This was a part of the WiP de_msx3 that I'm basically restarting from scratch, and I figured it could use a home on this new version of msx1, since it likely won't have a home on de_msx3 now when I eventually finish it.
This was an earlier map of mine, and for some reason I kept a lot of crates as world brushes, so I made sure to do a pass through with func_detail to clean some things up.
