This is a smaller attack and defend map made for 10-12 players, however it is still enjoyable with fewer. Plenty of spawn points are provided, so playing with more should technically still work.

There are two cap points for the attackers to capture in order. Once they've done so, the teams reset and the defenders start as attackers at the beginning of the map. This setup is similar to Avanti.

Attackers receive 5 points upon capture of a command point, defenders receive 1 point every minute that the gates are up until the attackers successfully capture the command point.

Thanks to the Old School community for playtesting the map, their contributions took this map from "promising" to "good"!

Additionally, I'm going to make sure the rmf file is uploaded as well so others can look to it for an example. This map makes heavy use of teamcheck entities which can be really daunting on top of the rest of the entity setup for this type of map, and I want my file to be available as an example for anyone that needs it.

I've updated the download to include sectionattack_r and sectionattack_l, both revised to clean up some of the finer details so the map plays a little better. Both are identical except that _l restricts all players to soldier only, while _r allows any class. The rmf file for the original version is still included

Suicidekid put me on to this map. I checked it out and thought the design is pretty good. A lot of times mappers create larger and out of scale mazes. this didn't feel like that. I like the idea of a smaller map, and this has a nice arena feel to it. The weighted flag really helps. It makes the map bigger by slowing down the Flag carrier. Have you ever thought about creating a 4v4 capture the flag map? I know the leagues currently need new ideas and maps to play.

I've thought a little about making a CTF map but I haven't started anything other than an xpress remake that's still in beta, I'll look more into a 4v4 style map for my next one
