This map started as a testing level for animated water caustic texture, then i decided to expand it a little bit. Here you can find a lot of buttons to press, and a lot of water to drain. Also you can swim in a fish tank if you want, and some doors will open only under right condition.

Recommended player count: 6-10;
Secrets: Yes;
Custom content: Textures ( Included in a bsp file ).

WAD file included in this archive isn't needed for playing this map ( custom textures are included into bsp file already ), but you can use it in your own maps if you want.

Changelog:
  • fixed bullet holes appearing when shooting skylights in some places ( thanks to trempler for addressing this issue );
  • minor visual changes for some rooms;
  • slight optimization for clip nodes.

Looks really nice from the screenshots. It feels like a real location. The lighting is spot-on without necessarily using light_spot.

It's like being on a real place. Very masterfully done.

Also couldn't help myself from opening the file in bspguy to see how the flip do you trigger all the buttons to get to the secret, and also having a sneak peek at it. It's a whole other level (in both sense!)

When I try to use this map in deathmatch the game crashes with no error message do you know why this happens? The same thing happens with your other map dm_demoncore

edit: the issue was with parabots

Truly inspired. Obviously a labor of love! Big and intricate, with high levels of interactive detail. Something about it reminds me of Duke Nukem 3D (I mean that as a compliment).
