Striker StrikerI forgot to check the oil pressure
I just ate peanut butter for the first time. It's actually not bad.

What do you use this stuff on besides eating it as it is?

Eating as is? Hell no.

Frankly I can't stand peanut butter by itself, or even by itself on bread. However it's goddamn magical in the peanut butter + strawberry jam combination.

Generally spread it on bread/toast, or make cookies with it.

Chocolate. I can't bring myself to do the American PB&J thing but I sure as hell enjoy peanut butter and a chocolate hazelnut spread in a sandwich. It's not just that, either. Pretty much anything chocolate (as long it doesn't have other flavours mixed in) goes great with peanut butter. Chocolate bars with peanut butter in them are a big American thing, the closest you get to that in Australia is a Snickers bar.

I don't have strawberry jam at the moment, but I tried it in combination with blueberry and cherry jam. Holy crap this is delicious!

I can't see how one can eat this on bread. It's too... dry to put it on bread : or make toast.

When I was a kid PB&J was my favourite sandwich.

Peanut butter on its own is too dry for me, esp. with bread.

But I'm not American, so J = Jam/Marmalade, not American Jelly.

I don't like it. It's too dry, too thick and it tastes too much of burnt peanuts, it's kind of like coffee.

Spread it on crakers, or combine it with jam/jelly on a sandwich.

Have you actually tried it, Pengy? You'd be suprised.

I was first having it as a kid when Goober was still being sold. I luuurved that stuff. Then they stopped selling it. Wasn't 'til about 3-4 years ago that I started making the combination myself.

Must say I don't think I've ever tried it with chocolate. I'll have to at some point.

Striker you need to make a PB & J sandwich. The dryness is circumvented with a glass of milk. Take a big bite, take a sip of the milk. Repeat.

Also, try a peanut butter and banana sandwich. That one takes a little working up to try, but you will NOT be disappointed. Slice a banana up and after you spread the PB on the bread, add an equal layer of banana slices, then top with the other slice of bread. White bread. Also to be eatan with a glass of milk.

And yeah, what Pengy said. Chocolate spread, or even better, Nutella, which is a chocolate/hazelnut mix. Also best in a sandwich with white bread and a glass of milk.

Peanutbutter and Apples are good.
If you eat toast in the morning, try some peanut butter on your toast or a bagel. The warmth thins it out and it starts to melt mmmmm...
Peanut butter and Jam is awesome. I prefer a 1:1 ratio of Jam/PB.
They're good with bananas but its super hard to chew sometimes.

My favorite from when i was a kid: Ants on a log:
Spread peanut butter over a celery stick and put some raisins on the peanut butter. DELISH!

I didn't have any jam so I tried a peanut butter and honey sandwich instead. It was pretty nice, would have again. I'll get some strawberry jam next time I shop.
