I got board so I mapped this. Seeing as there is a lack of mapping inspiration going around. Hopes this breaks it.

Turned off ratings. Deeforce has a point, no enemies, its small, and it is just a fun barf map that was fun to make. ...and I only compiled it once :/ no point in rating it either good or bad.

Hmmm, there are no enemies included, so it's just a test-map... but nice architecture.

Ok the map is nice . But make me undestand a thing : Did you make this map for showing off your skills or for making other guyz get inspired from it ? ( I like it , and I already learnt some detailing tips from it - like the wall edges from the top of the buildings . ) Otherwise I don't understand its purpose .

I'm jealous you came up with the cardboard idea. That's a great idea. You should use it for a full blown map. A small one though.
avatar Rimrook says: 25th June 2008, 17:13 PM
its purely an inspirational map. you can have the wad and make a full blown map if you choose to.

here's the wad. http://www.maprookie.com/random/bored.wad

if anyone has a scanner, they could get some real cardboard samples. The holy google failed me, I simply painted mine. Someone needs to try this with source! it'll beat the crap out of all those dev_maps

Hmm very nice test map! You're talented in spatial design, and i always enjoy walking your levels. The sky looks nice too, did you make it? (i didn't see any included gfx files and i don't recognize it!).

And what are dev_maps?! = )
avatar Alberto309 says: 25th September 2013, 15:09 PM
Mr.Terror, I think he's talking about those maps with DEV textures, also known as "ORANGE" maps on DoD and DoD:S. :)

Btw, I'm gonna dLoad this pretty sample map. :3 Just because has been made by you, Rimrook. <3
