Nominating judges from the general community is something I've definitely thought of. We would still need an admin or mod or two to oversee it, but by involving more people who didn't participate in the actual compo I think we could easily speed up the whole process.

Surprise holiday win. Nice.
My best day at work involved me working half of an already planned half-day. We were gonna' get off about 3-4 hours early for a local horse racing event, but I got part of a cotton tip stuck in my ear, and had to go get it removed... only worked 2 hours.

Parallax isn't actually used in Episode One, but if I recall correctly it was at least supported in the engine, or could be enabled with a small bit of coding... something to that extent anyway, then they took it out in the OB engine update. I figure it must've caused problems with their new renderer and since they didn't plan on using it, they simply removed it.

Habboi: The wires are hilarious, made me want to watch it more. ;P
Luke: Ignoring all these poor effects, it's not hard to tell how awful this movie is anyway, so yeah.
I noticed last night that even the sound design was incomplete, it was using some musical cues taken from Transformers. Some scenes they didn't even bother putting dummy effects in at all, they just had red arrows point to his hand and write "CLAWS GROW" on the screen.

Depression is pretty common these days. Not that it's not a concern or anything, but knowing about it is one of the steps to understanding it I guess.
If you're at that point where you have to worry about bullshit like work, relationships and all that, it's just going to get to you the same as a lot of people. Sucks, I know. ;/
As we're going to overhaul the competition system, what type of system would you like to see?
We have our own ideas where to start, but I want to hear what you guys think is an ideal system.
Aaaaand...
GO:
Why am I on the wall of shame. D:

Yes, that's as pathetic as it sounds.
That's what I thought anyway.
Happy early birthday!
Also, every time I look at that pic I wonder just how the hell they ended up like that.
Sounds pretty disgusting Hunter. I used to get some pretty bad ear problems, really makes you appreciate your senses when it's over. ;P
I had a look for that on Google srry, it does seem like he is the same guy. I hope so, anyway.

The last 30 minutes of the film is basically footage of matte grey polygons, fucking funny.
Definitely will, had my eye on this for a while. I love the unknown cast and fake documentary style.
EDIT: Fail. It's supposed to be out Australia-wide right now, but it's not at my local cinema. ;<
I've found I've actually had more fun with the silly, poorly mapped stages (like Helm's Deep and Zelda) than with the official maps. Strange.

And if you really want to get banned, we can oblige you.
That whole 'explain it to her family' bit though, yeesh.
