For the same reason I don't use the default sky in regular HL maps, I like variety. And Ricochet's default isn't just black void... it's kind of like one of the 'neb' skies but with purple swirls.

That's far too big. Also, the texture you're using is very small. Use a proper texture and make the map much smaller. Remove the env_explosion too.

a very good map. the only problem is that is only playable for a little number of players. but i like it a lot. anthony i agree with you. it stinks someone rates their own map. spectro - do not do that again please

This is a pretty poor map, no one has said it yet but its actually kind of crap. The brushwork is poor the texturing is shit and the fact that none of it makes any sense drags it down. Its definitley not worth the download!

i am also of the opinion that it lacks good layout though i like the good old hl textures...
the alarm sound is really annoying thats true
nevertheless it is my first map i am really proud of (it is about 4 years old now)

these tfc.wad's are in the tfc folder I think but I will put them in a web site because they are biger than 2 mb.

I quickly tested this map with ZombieLoffe and here's what i think:

Goodies:
-Good brushwork.
-Nice lighting.
-There was lots of sounds in the map.
Baddies:
-Boring textures.
-The layout wasn't very good imo.
-That alarm soud o_O

Yeah both of your maps are very detailed and you can tell you worked hard on them. I just think that the alarm is used a 'lil to much and get very annoying.. otherwise 5 stars
