Very very nicely-styled and well-made map and what a fun idea! I also like the method you use for ticking down damage, brilliant! =P
I didn't play through the whole thing, but everything I saw looked well done. The only minor minor nitipick I have(after playing for 5 minutes) is to make those nice green door handles connect at the bottom as well as the top
Great work and a fun idea, Rimmeh! =P

I don't know why the quicksave/load stuff is busted. The map autosaves and that doesn't work any better. I thought it was just me so I didn't dabble into it too much. Sorry to hear the saving is broken for you too, I don't know how to fix it.

It's good fun! Except I am no good with grenade.
First attempt: Looking at level more than looking for rats. Hurt self with grenades too much, so went beheaded kamikaze at a rat. Second attempt: Got stuck on the forklift. Third attempt: Did quite well, but ended up killing self on the same rat I hurt myself so much on on the first attempt.
There's a couple of spots I could see the player getting stuck in (besides the forklift, which I think needs some clip-brush smoothing), such as behind the reactors (or whatever they are) and in the toilets (you can jump up the urinal).
Besides that, fun to play! Some of the rats are harder to kill than to spot, which is a good part of the play.
I personally would like some way of telling you how many rats you've gotten on death, or maybe just a vox every five or so. I don't know how many I've found =(
EDIT: Did a last attempt to collect my knowledge. Found a total of somewhere around 32-33 rats. I wouldn't venture a guess as to which ones I've missed, and I got some pretty damn hard to see ones. (Btw, don't know if it's intended, but loading (quickload and such) seems to empty the grenade stockpiles. Even removes grenades you are already carrying if you go up to one.)

Maybe someday, panels would probably be stolen from the roof after a while, its a flat building after all
Its sort of a hobby at this point, i work as a systems admin so i touch these kind of machines on a daily basis, i apply what i learn at work there and what i learn from it at work, you could say its like a test environment, but all of it is in production. I can obviously rent a server, but i want to have something myself in the long run rather than throwing money at a hosting company and getting nothing back. I do this because power is basically free there (amounts to 1$ per month), the running costs are lower than the cheapest dedicated server i could rent.

A very damn stylish deathrun map!
Damn impressive doodads and it's rare to see a DR map like this that is so damn-nicely detailed!
I don't play Deathrun maps, so i noclipped to the part with the sexy waterfall, is there much after that and those wicked little ogre blade trap thingies? (those traps remind me of Orcs Must Die!
Very nice! Fancy effects (something other entries lacked a bit), and nice texture usage. <3
My one complaint is that you can't reach the bridge from the pipes! D: It seemed like a natural path, but can't actually be taken. Other than that, though, nice work!

Works now!
Really Really dig the style of this!
Very meticulously put together, and some really fine brushwork trims and beamwork in particular, but everything is top notch.
Looking up at that ceiling and taking it all in, makes me think you could have very easily made this a futuristic space freighter bay, or other various sci-fi themes! Clean, meticulous, beautiful work! =P
And this man maps with cs version of halflife, he dont own halflife 1 so he wasnt able to add scientists and stuff...what is sad for us, we should give him a hl1 copy
Oh yeah, this is definitely taking home gold. This is freaking awesome, I have nothing but praise for this map!
The texture usage in combination with the phenomenal lighting is incredible, it feels like it's got a lot of assets. And there is just so much detail. Amazing!
WARNING 2 seperate pair of underwear were harmed in the playtesting of this map: DISCRETION ADVISED!
This Is definitely in the top-5-most-amazing things I've EVER seen in a GoldSRC map, period. Yes Lajron, NOW I see what you were saying! HOLY SHIeT, this is madness!...
THIS. IS. AWESOME!!!
I do agree wit Tet it's maybe a bit dark(especially upstairs), but not a big deal! Btw, I like how we both have horizontal neon lines in our maps, I just never made time to add the texlights; was gonna do a cyberpunkian neon display too..
Absolutely incredible use of the Vanilla Half-Life textures! It was a tad bit dark, but that's seriously my only complaint. The use of colors and multiple light sources is fantastic. The map is very much alive and every single area is teeming with detail. I can see that you put a lot of work into this and I definitely think this is gold medal material.
I love the destructification, and the brush props are gorgeous, e.g., that Humvee! Very cool beam effects and sound, and good/imaginative use of the texture pack.

Grr. Seems map1_textures (a file that I have no idea why I have, nor why Zeeba didn't have issues) has textures named exactly the same as some in halflife.wad, and I guess Sledge was a bit confused during compile.
Anyway, removed the problem wad from my folder and recompiled, updated the file, should be without issue, now.
Thanks a lot, no there isn't any way out. There is a furnace though ;). You just have to enter the region up near under the large pipe to trigger it. Watch for the entire sequence of events.
Also try exiting by climbing the ladder and see what happens.
Just explore the whole area, there are three sets of triggers.

Well done Dimbreak!
5/5 from me, as I can't do nil. =3

Also, I will ask again, is this just for your hobby? Because the costs of maintaining a home server seeem way higher than buying something online...
('Course, I miss all the old affable members that don't come 'round no more. But you're one of them!)
Hope all is well!
Life takes priority and continues to do so for me as well. Best of luck and thank's for dropping by
