True, 7 inches is not a whole lot when it comes to burgers or sandwiches. Heck, I once ate a 16 inch Philly cheese steak sandwich from this night spot in Philadelphia. That sandwich had a full 1 1/2 pounds of sirloin beef (24 ounces of beef)! Now that was a MAN's sandwich! Of course, I ended up paying over $10 for that sandwich.

Here, this is the complete text on the lower right hand corner on the ad which ATDestroy partily quoted from:
"Fill your desire for something long, juicy and flame-grilled with the new BK Super Seven Incher. Yearn for more after you taste the mind-blowing burger that comes with a single beef patty, topped with American cheese, crispy onions and the A.1. Thick & Hearty Steak Sauce."
Besides what ATDestroy pointed out, there's also that ending: "Thick & Hearty Steak Sauce".

You know, Transformers 2 was released world wide at the same time, which is something Hollywood does not normally do often. I think they should always release the movies this way, that way websites with an international membership like TWHL will be able to have their members comment right away about the movie regardless from what country they are from. It sucks whenever a good movie that I am waiting to see comes out in theaters in the U.S., and then afterwards a week later at where I live here in Puerto Rico. I hear Europe and Australia get the movies even later than that!

I will go on the record and say that this movie's story plot is not exactly "Oscar material", far from it. You have to approach this movie for what it really is, a mindless special effects driven extravaganza for one to enjoy with the kids. It's a live action bang & smash cartoon, that's all it is. A true popcorn flick to watch with little kids and together experience the "ooohs & aghs".

Hey satchmo, I know you said that you are not reporting to work and will stay at home instead, for fear of infecting the babies you treat. Isn't there some kind of state or federal law or even a medical board rule that would prevent you anyway from engaging in your medical practice in the event you were infected with a pathogen?

This is the best, to the point information I was able to find without too much techno babble on possible vaccines, QUOTE:
"According to the CDC, antiviral drugs can be given to treat those who become severely ill. These antiviral drugs are prescription medicines (pills, liquid or an inhaler) and act against influenza viruses, including the 2009 pandemic virus. There are two such medications that are recommended for use against the 2009 H1N1 swine flu virus, oseltamivir (Tamiflu) and zanamivir (Relenza). The 2009 H1N1 swine flu virus is resistant to the adamantane antiviral medications, amantadine and rimantadine. The CDC has noted that as the flu pandemic spreads, antiviral drugs such as oseltamivir (Tamiflu) and zanamivir (Relenza) might become in short supply. Therefore, the drugs would be given first to those people who have been hospitalized or are at high risk of complications. The drugs work best if given within 2 days of becoming ill, but might be given later if illness became severe or to those at a high risk for complications."
NOTE: For those of you here not familiar with the "CDC" as mentioned above, it stands for "Centers for Disease Control and Prevention". It is an agency of the United States Department of Health and Human Services.

I too have a feeling this could be pre-rendered, but for some time now some game developers have been predicting that real time game play with this kind of sophistication is just around the corner. If this Direct3D 11 video is indeed a non-rendered, real time demonstration, then I think Microsoft has really taken the latest 3D graphics up a notch with their DirectX platform. This could also be viewed as a potential preview of Microsoft's next game console's graphics engine, or it could even be better than this, who knows...

Now, what I want director Roland Emmerich to instead do, is a sequal to Independence Day. And throw in some mechs too!

@Penguinboy: Yes, I did go overboard on the typing there a bit. But don't worry, other people read it for you.
@Daubster: No, I never said war is a good thing, the only good thing about war, is it's ending. The only country that needed to be dealt with at the time was Afghanistan, since that's where the 911 conspirators were hiding at. The Iraq invasion was different, it was motivated mostly in part by oil, which you rightly so pointed out as the key word that I missed. If I were the U.S. President at the time, I would have never ordered the Iraq invasion.

@Penguinboy: I think you misunderstand what logic is. It is not a trait to directly posses like you suggest, it is more like the "reason behind" the idea or train of thought a person has. Let's take for an example Adolph Hitler,....sure his deeds were very evil, but there was a very real logic behind his madness. In his mind, the Jews were the cause of most of Germany's problems. He wanted to save Germany from the problems it was having at the time, so the only logical solution to get rid of Germany's problems, was to get rid of the source of the problems, which according to him were the Jews. The same goes for George Bush. America is under attack by a terror group called Al-Qaeda , which is hosted and protected by Afghanistan's Taliban government. Now, how do you stop the terror attacks? Simple, destroy Al-Qaeda, but to get to Al-Qaeda, you need to get rid of the Taliban first, then replace it with a friendlier government that will help you destroy Al-Qaeda. Now, are you starting to see the progressive logic here? Well guess what, George Bush probably saw it too. But of course, just like Hitler, it does not mean he was sane either.
@potatis_invalid: You know what, if you are going to give out links to "news sources(LOL)", can you at least find sites that are not so blatantly far-left liberal with an "everybody can see" anti-American agenda of their own? Oh yea, as for propaganda in the U.S. Army, guess what? All the world's armies do the exact same thing, ALL OF THEM! And what's this "anti-democratic institution" crap you are accusing the U.S. Army of being? If it wasn't for America's armed forces, you and everybody in your country will most likely be singing the Soviet national anthem while serving as slaves to the Soviet Red Army.

Look Strider, you really have some good points there and I agree with you on most of them, but on the Dark Knight ending, both major villains (Joker and Two Face) are still alive, none died, they were just captured. Now, I am not counting the mobsters and henchmen on this observation, they are just small potatoes to bother with. And knowing that Joker and Two Face are guaranteed to escape jail, being that they are super villains after all, I consider that a big loose end, bigger than the one from Batman Begins, where the major villain did died.
Okay look, I am just going by the way DC Comics handles Batman and it's progression of titles over the years. DC had a comic book called The Dark Knight, and that's a fact. That Dark Knight comic had a sequel called The Return Of The Dark Knight. So, if they don't use Dark Knight 2 or 3 for the next movie, then for sure they might follow DC Comic's logical lead and name it The Return Of The Dark Knight.
Also, there's another twist to the next Batman movie I forgot to mention. According to what director Chris Nolan said in a MTV interview, part of the next Batman movie's story line will involve the mention and tie-in of certain other DC Comic characters, and the same thing will be done on the next Superman movie (WIP: "Superman: Man of Steel"), which is slated to start shooting soon. You see, all this was planed out to get the ball rolling for the planed Justice League movie scheduled for a 2012 shoot. "It all part of the plan", He,he,he.

Well yea, Batman 3 as you put it would be the no-brainer choice for the title. But the thing is, Batman 3 just sounds too plain, too regular and predictable. I am sure the studio execs would want to go with something more unconventional and more exiting, something with shock value and menacing. To tell you the truth, we will just have to wait and see what the studio decides, decisions like this always fluctuate and can change on the last minute.

@naserve: You might be right, Warner Bro. studios have yet to reveal the movie's eventual title. Some years ago, DC Comics published a graphic novel called The Dark Knight, the story line was set some years in to the future with an aging Batman coming out of retirement for one last mission, or something like that. I am pretty sure this is where they got the title for the last movie. Now, some time later after The Dark Knight graphic novel, DC Comics publishes another graphic novel called "The Return Of The Dark Knight". So, I say there is a possibility that they might follow the same logic and name the next Batman movie "The Return Of The Dark Knight". It does make sense, does it not?

@Strider: I remember when the people behind the Batman movies said they were doing a new reboot of the Batman franchise starting with the movie that later became "Batman Begins", they pointed out it was going to be a more down to earth, less campy, darker and more human Batman set in a non-gothic looking Gotham city. Then a much more darker sequel, The Dark Knight comes along which made cinematic history on many fronts. Well, with a massive movie franchise cash cow on their hands, a Warner Bro. studios executive said this on the past Comic-Con when he was asked if the movie studio will use the title "Dark Knight 2" on the next sequel: We can neither confirm or deny the use of The Dark Knight 2 title for the next project". Uhm, yea sure....that sounds to me like they just might use it, after all, didn't the final scene of The Dark Knight movie leave some unfinished business hanging? As for your question, Strider, I think this will be more of a "The Dark Knight 3" if you consider calling the "Batman Begins" movie "The Dark Knight 1", get it?
