I hope you get well. It is a bit disturbing to think that, while in this condition, you are also considering that operation you posted about in the last journal...

It is a bit more optimized - performance wise. Starting it takes a lot less time and on a laptop that's a big plus for me. On a desktop, I don't care that much.
At some point we will be forced to upgrade- that's if Linux distros won't be solid alternatives by then. Windows XP was a great OS. I switched to Windows 7 at the end of 2010. Are you still using Windows XP?

Now I just remembered what your situation resembles with.
Have you watched 500 days of summer? Go watch it :).

Sometimes I take my earphones in public to check if I can hear them. I also like to keep the volume normal. I hear other people listening to their music and it's either their bad earphones or high volume. Lately I've discovered that I enjoy listening to podcasts though.

I think a lot of people complain without having tried. Surströmming has indeed the most putrid food smell in the world, but it is usually opened outside and is served in a combination with other foods. It isn't actually rotten, the proteins are intact.
But marinated fish... seriously, it is an easy snack for your stomach, and it's tasty.

Marinated fish. I fucking love it. (I HOPE Archie's not around!) I'm eager to try Surstromming, although it's hard to find and probably isn't a nice experience =)).

I watched that. Are you sure you want to forever leave the Earth on a forsaken planet? You need to be highly courageous. This is almost like a supreme sacrifice. I don't think it's really possible if you have a family.
Just not yet... men and women who go on this trip will be brave pioneers. They state explicitly that there's no turning back, it's all a chance of future technology.

"You will find your true love"
Perhaps I am not very successful at this part because I tend to transform it into a long-term objective. But long term objectives are composed of small actions that lead to them. And men of action, who don't tend to be idealistic or shy, achieve this. While I... am stuck in a vicious loop...
"So don't despair. It's too early to give up. Pick yourself up off the floor, dust yourself off, and get back on your road. Because there's still much to learn"
I have learned and still learn the hard-way that to be able to this, you must first get rid of your dependance on other people's opinions. I never considered myself like that, but I came to realize that subconsciously I was affected by it. I have wasted too much time trying to integrate myself into circles of friends that are not compatible with me. Was I the problem? I don't think so, it's just that I pick the wrong groups. I can't blame other people for my mistakes. The worst part is that trying to make new friends is a social effort, and at some point you get tired. You get tired of you being the only one trying to open a conversation, even though you're not good at it. Thinking of questions is itself a social effort, and receiving short, cold answers is... tiring. I think that kind of feedback has transformed me in a person who is not feeling comfortable anymore to ask someone out.
It's hard to reinvent yourself. Maybe impossible...

Wait, are these commercial mods? I mean, I thought on ModDB people with hobbies cooperate on making mods. I've read this on Hazard Course front page:
"In fact, it is so similar that we are willing to bet that this cannot be a coincidence. We have contacted our lawyers, and they agree that this may very well constitute a severe breach of copyright. We have sent the Freeman Chronicles team a Cease and Desist warning, which has not been met with compliance. "
What the fuck?! People making mods for an old game series are nowadays contacting lawyers?
[EDIT] Nevermind. It probably has to do with today's date...

I have no idea what you're talking about, since we have a different system here. But if it's about entering a college and you succeeded, then congratulations!

Wow. So I googled some of my maps and it turns out that some of my old CS maps made it in the list of some servers. Also, this is incredible, but searching for my maps turned out a very old "portofolio"(of maps) site I tried to make but didn't complete.
This is the site. This is astonishing. I'm not saying I would rely on a free site builder to make sites, but it seems like this site can be trusted. I haven't logged in for 5 years there :.

I've got an Asus Xonar DS too, and believe me, it does make a difference( well at least it does on my 2007-old onboard sound). Plus it has headphone amplification for the front panel. Also, it uses mechanical switches for switching between front and back panel( you will hear a click when doing this from the software). This means better audio quality.

Rimrook, you've got ballz.
Oh.
Is this going to leave your testosterone levels normal?
And if you REALLY went so far, have you considered the fact that you can give your girlfriend full body orgasm only by using your hand?!

I can't see how one can eat this on bread. It's too... dry to put it on bread : or make toast.
This is nasty.
