Yeah, Valve has a very suspenseful and carefully thought out approach at horror. As a result, I think its much less scary the second time around, while most games sacrifice a complex approach to horror, to one that tries to make the character jump every time.

JeffMOD, because I only loaded up blue shift to get a pic of that alien because my ex wanted to see it, and she was too lazy to load blue shift up for herself. In other words, I wasn't going to be playing long enough to care about software mode.
