I believe he was inspired by the game, Limbo. Also he isn't much of an artist and probably chose this style because it's easy to work with. Same with my Iphone game, I chose vector art cause my painting skills are not as good.

Nothing wrong with that. You just like to keep to yourself. Although perhaps you should find a goal in life to keep you going or being on your own really will make you depressed.

Well that's just perfect cause guess what? Skyrim will have:
1. Manually designed dungeons and caverns. In oblivion they had just 1 guy make them and in Skyrim it's 8.
2. The world is smaller so each area is more refined and more immersive.
3. Animation team is all new with more talent this time.
4. Humans look a whole lot better as seen in the pictures. The conversations no longer do that horrible ZOOM in thing. Instead they'll move around while talking, people behind them will carry on doing whatever it is they're doing.
5. The new sidequest mechanic means you'll never go to the same cave twice. If the game detects you've already been in a certain cave it'll change the quest to lead you to another. Although don't get too pumped for this cause I reckon it'll be like Red Dead Redemption with the same old random quests out in the desert.
6. They know the fighting sucked balls. No longer can you run backwards as fast as you can forwards. Instead of swinging like a mad man they've changed it to be more strategic. You can't just hold block, it drains your stamina, instead you must tap defend at the right time leaving an opening. Finally there are death kill animations.
Glitches will probably be there but not as bad as New Vegas, oh god never again.

Oh I know it's new but that doesn't tell me if it's better. I have faith though cause Fallout 3 and Oblivion ran decently but the shit that is New Vegas (Obsidian) did not. I just don't want to experience "that" ever again.

Probably for the best that you don't then. There's only oh so much Oblivion that one can take and I'm only interested cause I haven't played in ages and it's something new and with good reviews.

Interesting idea. But in regards to the Facebook one, is that for adding possible employers as friends? My personal facebook would indeed be inappropriate.
Oh and good luck with your career. Film industry sounds like a rewarding job to work in.
Edit: K, I took your advice and made a Linkedin account, added to portfolio CV and to my surprise a bunch of industry people I didn't know looked at it while I was asleep.

Yes can't agree more. That's essentially my plan anyway.
To work on my portfolio, my skills, get a game out on the Iphone platform and to just keep applying in the future. Tommorow is another day and new jobs may arise.
Other than that I'll just try to get another job. Perhaps even train for something else and carry on developing in my free time.

The red things next to the fountain are crudely drawn valves. They manage the flow of water coming out of the shrine.
To be fair the world is fantasy and how often is there a shrine in a sewer in real life? I'm sort of blending real and fantasy. But you do pose an interesting point and perhaps I should reassess the drain. Maybe replace it with a collapsed ceiling. One more reason for the grate was the interesting shadows it'd create on the shrine itself.
Thank you Striker.

Yeah sorry if it upsets people but I think you all have a right to know about it.
Personally if I had the power I'd throw her off the ledge but I can't and she knows it which is why she's probably laughing because we show our anger but can't actually do anything about it.
Hail!
Thanks all.
Jeff: Indeed, it's all about the right time and a good marketing plan. I have one roughly in my head.
I really want to play this but it's 360 only at the moment. :<

Lots of voice actors, better combat, supposedly better engine.

Overall though I'm just gonna work on sewer above, Iphone game, keep applying for jobs and update the blog every so often.

At least I can make my cat happy.
