@DaSalba, good point. I agree with your arguments, HL2 is still my number one due to sheer nostalgia... hard to choose between HL1 and HL2 for me though. I never really clicked with any of the expansions

Hey Psy, indeed you might be right. To be honest, the best setup for this kind of map wasn't entirely clear to me, so I went for these settings. Might be a more convenient way indeed to have set this up.

ah great, another competition! I'll start working on a map, feeling up for it. 'green goo' as a theme is pretty challenging eh, we might need to get super creative for this one.

I sort of skipped the idea of a rocky canyon, that didn't suit the setting I was aiming for, but I kept the exact same size of the gap to be crossed.

I can't guarantee that making it completely different from the base map won't count against you in judging, it's all subjective.

This made me slightly nervous

but the fun was in making the map of course. Almost done
