For those of you who are using nw.wad, here are the rad file entries for the texturelights:

Unfortunately, there are multiple rad files, i don't know which one is the base rad file for the texturelights. Kungfusquirrel (one of the authors) recommends to do this to figure that out:

I'd merge them together and if there are conflicts, look to nwc2a* for the tiebreaker.

Yes, i know, they fucked up C&C4 pretty bad, but im going to play it anyway, because it has GDI, Nod and Kane. Plus, it's the last in the series.

Well, that's a relief.

I've installed Windows 7 64-bit the other day and Steam HL, WON HL and Hammer all work fine. I was kinda scared that they would'nt.

Bottomline: i can still map for GoldSource!

I have a cold. It started with my throat feeling like it has tons of needles stuck in it. I take it you all know how that feels when you swallow.

That was three days ago, and it's pretty much gone and over, but now i have a cold. Im coughing and sneezing a lot, but I still have my appetite.
Im going to have a long hot bath soon, my mom told me it'll make me feel better.

Funny detail: when i cough, i sound just like a Smoker. Wut?

We found these in our garbage bin this morning:They were really scared of us and everything, their probably alley cats/kittens.

And we think they've jumped in the bin themselves, there was some leftover chicken in there. They were most certainly not dumped in our bin by some individual, as we've seen the white kitten before, a couple of days earlier:The white-brown one we didn't see. The dark one is out of frame.

The vets picked them up later.

----------------Space shuttle Endeavour on Launch pad 39A----------------

To those who missed it, space shuttle Endeavour mission (STS-127) will launch tomorrow at 7:17 a.m. EDT.

4400 writer Scott Peters is working on an upcoming television series remake of "V", to be broadcast on ABC sometime in fall 2009 and is based on the science-fiction franchise created by Kenneth Johnson.

As a V fan, im pretty excited about this. The question of course is: will it be of any quality of the original, as it is just a remake? Im gonna keep my eye on this.

Today is a special day.
Because in about 2 hours (as of this writing), space shuttle Atlantis (Mission STS-125) will launch to be the last servicing mission to the Hubble Space Telescope. Space shuttle Endeavour will be ready to launch in case a rescue mission is needed, as Hubble is at a higher orbit than the ISS, so Atlantis won't be able to dock to it.
Atlantis will carry two new instruments to the HST, a replacement Fine Guidance Sensor, and six new gyroscopes and batteries to allow the telescope to continue to function at least through 2014. The crew will also install a new thermal blanket layer to provide improved insulation, and a "soft-capture mechanism" to aid in the safe de-orbiting of the telescope by an unmanned spacecraft at the end of its operational lifespan.

Go Atlantis!

Kut met peren.
One of my twin Corsair 1GB DDR SDRAM modules just died on me.

Immediately ordered a replacement, and wow, memory is freaking cheap these days. Thank you, Vista.

Argh, not this again. :/

I turned on my pc today and heard a weird noise coming out of the case. It was not my CPU fan, not my powersupply fan but my videocard fan! Why do i always get faulty videocard fans!? Its not the first time that my videocard fan starts to show signs of failure. Its still working though, but for how long? Who knows... Anyway, i took out the videocard and used a air compressor to blow out all the dust. I did the same with the rest of the system.

Then i put the card back into its AGP slot, connected all the wires, and turned the pc on. Still the same sound. So i took a pencil and started to poke the fan, hoping that the sound will stop. And it did.

The fan is connected to the card via a 2-pin socket, so my guess is that the fan could easily be replaced by a new one, without having to replace the entire card, cuz the card itself is still working as it should be.
Ill just wait and see what happens...

Balls.

In other news, i have a really cool Brotherhood of Nod logo decal on my window. People walking by outside can see that i fight for Nod.
