Started watching V again. Awesome sciencefiction miniseries. Can't wait for V: The Second Generation. ^_^

Check out this video of the most memorable scene of V.
This is where Mike Donovan (Played by Mark Singer, the main character of the series) finds out that the Visitors are in fact lizard-like aliens...

At the end of the video, you'll see a glimpse of one of the shuttle crafts that i have created for Half-Life: V Shuttle Crafts

Journal time!

The Compilator is still going strong. Version 1.0.4 will soon be released with some new features and many fixes. Here are some of its newest feats:
  • Real batch compiling (compile multiple maps in a row)
  • Added HLFix as a default tool
  • Added abbility for adding additional third party compile tools
  • Something else that is still being worked on by our Daubster...
I also got me a 500 GB external hard drive for all my backups (think Mythbusters episodes).

As for gaming, im currently playing Serious Sam 2 again.
Im also playing with Space Shuttle Mission 2007, a Space Shuttle Simulator in wich you can fly real Shuttle mission, including the historical very first flight of the Shuttle (STS-1) on April 12, 1981, carried out by Orbiter Columbia (destroyed in Feb. 2003). Yesterday i finished mission STS-1 after trying to land the Shuttle for about 100 times.
My avatar shows the mission patch for STS-1.

Well, the HLDM server is no more... Thats the bad news.
The good news it that me and a friend now have a HL2DM server in the making, its currently in a "test state", so please join it and let me know what your opinions are about the latency/ping

IP: 82.192.81.134:27015 (HL2DM Server - xpro-hosting.eu)
(Server name will change later when its official)

Wewt! Since i installed an additional 2048 MB RAM in my rig, HL2 and Hammer run so smoothly. Everything loads fast, no soundstutter, no lag, no low fps.

I ran a system requirements test for HL2 with my current config. Here are the results:

Passed the test 100 %! :D

RAM upgrade ftw. :)
Added an additional 2048 to my 512.
Nice! :)

Edit Sept. 6th, 2008:
One 1024 module died.
So its 2048 + 512 - 1024 = 1.5 GB
Immediately ordered and replacement.

I finally bought a copy of FXHome's VisionLab. Its a special effects program that allows you to add special effects to video's. Effects like laser beams, muzzleflash's, bullet trails, bullet impacts, fire, smoke, particles, optics and more!
It also allows you to use advanced rendering abbilities such as masking, greenscreening and SC animation.

so... w00t! :D
