I became a corporation today.

I had an initial meeting with my new accountant, and she immediately recommended me to establish a subchapter S corporation for tax reasons. As a corporation, I am in a lower tax bracket, and I qualify for far more tax deductions. In addition, I get to have a separate pension plan that is tax sheltered.

It's so complicated, but I am glad that she seems to know what she's talking about.

My son was playing in the elementary school across the street.

He finds it more interesting to go up on a slide than to come down.

My last goldfish died. I now realized that I simply cannot keep fish alive for longer than two months, no matter what I did.

So I switched to hamsters instead.

I got two Roborovski hamsters this weekend, and they're enjoying their new home in the 30-gallon goldfish aquarium.

I found out last week that I made partner in my medical group.

So now I am an owner in the largest medical group practice in the United States.

Now my career is completely secure, I can focus more on mapping and gaming.

I saw Dark City for the second time last night.

The first time I saw it, it just came out in the theater in 1998. I only have vague memories of the film, but I remember it was an enjoyable movie.

I have no regret revisiting the "Dark City" universe. I highly recommend this film, especially if you like the sci-fi genre.

Another car rear-ended me this morning.

It was entirely the other driver's fault, and he was driving without a license or insurance.

Of course I called the police on that bastard.

Andrew Wakefield should be prosecuted for espionage.

He is currently hiding in the United States because the British General Medical Council is after his medical license.

Vaccines do not cause autism.

I had a lot of fun while it lasted.

When I created GamingParents in September of 2006, I was hoping to start a thriving community between adult gamers where a discussion of gaming strategy could intermingle with topics on parenting.

More than three years later, it is clear that the community has not blossomed as I had hoped.

2007 was the best year, with more than twenty active members.

By 2010, there are basically three members left. And I think it's silly to have a forum with just one or two people having a monologue.

I greatly appreciate every member that GamingParents have ever had, but the experiment is coming to a close.

I will still visit other forums, including TWHL and Sermo. It's time to move on.

Farewell, friends. Thanks for the good memories.

I had a bad dream last night.

I dreamed that there was a growing cult that abducts children and poisons them. I was trying so hard to hide my son and protect him.

Now I wonder whether it's because I was playing too much BioShock. I do rescue all the Little Sisters, but they do creep me out.

I guess playing this game at night reflects what I do during the daytime--rescuing children and making them well again

My son woke up from a nap this afternoon, and he said "G-Man" to my wife.

My wife, clearly baffled, asked him "What's G-Man?"

He replied, "You know, in that computer game, with Alyx."

Going to participate in the running segment of a triathlon relay tomorrow morning.

My other teammates are both pediatricians (my co-workers).

Wish me luck.

This week, I talked about health care reform in America.

Apparently, there are many wealthy and privileged Americans who believe that not every American citizen deserves to have access to health care.

I happen to disagree.
