How about... Awesome?!
TWHL is the best mapping community i saw, and ive been to many, chat bear thing, russian forums, some lame balkan forums, and em even making my own Serbian mapping forum because TWHL inspired me.
What else can a person say, except being totally impressed and amazed by TWHL? You should be feeling happy and glad

Consider this: you joined TWHL when you were still living under your parents' roof. Since you joined TWHL, you've gone through university, moved into your own place, and have gotten engaged.

I've only been a true online community member twice. Chat bear and TWHL. They shut chat bear down right? Oh well. TWHL is fun, because to me it isn't all about mapping. You can discuss pretty much anything.
Gratz to your 7.5 years. I'm getting there as well with my 7.38 years

A lot certainly has happened over the years that I've been here. To think I originally signed up because I'd been banned from Planet Half-Life. Now TWHL is part of my life in that I check it every day at least once, i met one of my good friends here, and I'm part of the MOTM team. Heh.

You should be glad, you're around people with a similar experiences and hobbies. We don't ALL get on because of the 'safety monitor' we all curl up behind, but we're all the same really. If the whole of TWHL met up, I can see us having a truly epic time.
Safe to say I have been here a decent amount of time myself, not hugely active but I lurk often and help out were I see fit. I signed up and made myself comfortable.

7.8 years for myself. I joined when I was 12. Like Archie, that's far too young to be on an online community. And my earlier posts really do tell the maturity level I was at.
Even if it doesn't seem like it, I <3 you guys.
I'd still love to get a TWHL veteran meet up. It'd be really hard to pull off, but I'd buy you all a round if it happened.

I joined 4.3 years ago(1570 days). Wait, what? Holy crap!
Yep, I can't even tell how fast time flies by. Ever since TWHL was the first tab in my browsers, the first site to check everytime and the community I joined right after connecting to the internet. And all this happened because I was curious about mapping, and a lucky google result pointed me to you guys when it could have pointed me to snarkpit, interlopers or other communities that have faded out...
Long stay everyone. The members that have a little place in their heart for TWHL are the members that keep this community going and making it so unique among other mapping communities.

6.81 years. Joined when I was 14, had been lurking for over a year before that though. It was my 1st proper online community, which really shows in my older posts.
Doubt I would have gotten into games development without the help of TWHL. Much love indeed. <3

Almost reached my 6th year from signing up and just like the majority of you guys, maturity wasn't exactly a strong point back then... neither was grammar.
I still remember seeing "Urbanebula" as opposed to "Urby" and also remembering certain peeps such as "Dave932932" and "Orpheus". Has it really been 4 years (2008) since the site's been revamped? o_o

Back in the days when Archie was The Hunter, The Mighty Atom was Muzzleflash and Urby was Urbanebula. Ant existed and maybe even Elon Yariv or whatever his name was.
First and only site I'm a part of. And I know I was visiting before I joined, I originally only joined to ask some things about models, if I remember correctly.

You mean the religious debate that boiled down into people having "proudly liberal" in their avatars for like a year and a half. I'm pretty sure that's when Brattylord left. On that note, remember Brattylord?
What ever happened to m0p? He was a cool guy when I was on IRC. Otherwise he was a cock.
Isn't jimmi still around with a new name? Skals or someone.
Trapt's gallery of horrors WAS THE SHIT. It's gotta be somewhere around here. We need to dig that up again.
What else... Shit I don't remember anything else at the moment. Good times, though.
Ooh ooh. What about how there weren't journal comments, and so we used to have threads consisting of people just responding via their journals. That got out of hand. When were comments added, anyhow? I feel like it was recent enough to where even new people here might remember when they weren't there.

Archie, you know Luke is IEMC, right? Never mind, I missed the 2 on the end. If Jimmi changed his name, that's news to me. I always thought he just left.

I've been here 1774 days (4.86 years). I've known most of you guys for longer than I've known most of my IRL friends. There have been a few times when I've been completely inactive for a moth or so, but most of the time I would log I would log in every day. I think I would have been about 14 when I joined, and while I can't remember most of my posts from back then the ones I can I find embarrassing.

remember worldcrafter? oh wait nevermind.
wasnt there a guy called Elon Vari or something whos avatar was a cacodemon? i used to get him mixed up with srry. i used to get Tosse mixed up with Habboi too.
Bro fist.

2700 days (7.39 years) here.
Wow, I joined when I was 13. Way, way too young for an online community.
What I find most interesting is watching others come and go. The really active members moved on, yet we all stayed.
But congrats on reaching 7+ years.

"Tosse?"
We need more kazoo/ukulele videos.

Damn.
Like Madcow, I'm not active in any other online communities.
Might be one of the reasons we never really leave.
Only been here 1210 days (4 years). But almost every day out of that time.
I've only been here since 2009, that's not very long. But even being new I am already glad I joined, you guys are awesome.
I'd be all for a global TWHL meeting if it were possible.

Twhl is my first and only commmunity as well, and the only one where i am a regurar. I feel dirty whenever i temporarlily lurk on some other forum.
or how about the first MASSIVE religion debate started by zombieloffe?
PalO and m0p exchanging blows...
Habboi being accused of copyright theft by the Nightwatch mod team...

Crazy crazy. Also, I was fairly new to the internet. Can you tell?
I have apologized for that, right? As well as my atrocious spelling and overuse of emoticons?
This is brilliant.

m0p was freakin weird.
