I finally got my other map done enough to post! 
dances around the room it's far from finished, but this one seems far more possible than the black mesa entrance, not limited by that theme. and it is going to be single player!!! My first sp map! I hope it turns out, because i've got some great ideas. Check it out!

I have had hammer for a looooong time (about 2 months) and i still have not installed or tried it. Captin Binnacle is getting very angry

after 2 full days (adding up to about 26 hours) my HL subway train is done.
Now to find out why hlvis crashes every time i compile my map.
yes i gave it time (5 hours) and it just did nothing
-few hours later-no progress. Can`t find anything wrong with my map...

i'm killing black mesa entrance. it's pissing me off, and I don't like where it's going. Anyway, i'm still probably in the n00b mapper category, so it's ok if I leave a map unfinished, I learned stuff from it. And i've got better ideas.
