I got a new optical mouse that glows BLUE, M@@A@@AN! WHOA, TRIPPY... :P anyway, it's CreAtivE Labs IceMouse and it looks pretty sweet. when I start modding my case, i'll get blue LED's all over the insid just to match my mouse. in other news, I'm creating a sweet robot boss thing, soon to be released.

As my experience in JA grows, so does my mapping skills. The fog caused hall-of-mirrors effect because it was a structural brush. You can add light to textures by writing a shader script. The skies can get really messed up etc. I really should clean up among my journal entries. Now I'm supposed to make this special map along with a friend of mine. Well let's get mapping!!!

At last Timefall is ready "completed" the play test is over and al file is pack together in a pak0.pak file and a zip file is done.
The zip file is on 11.6MB and in this week I hope I get it on the net.

Okay, de_tube is done (for the moment). I've sorted the worst of the r_speeds and the map should now be playable. I'll put it on the lan and see how it goes with the three of us. Really need to find somewhere to get this played.

Posted as a completed map now. My first on TWHL. :)

This mapping is fun but it's hard work- especially near the end.

Okay. I played with it. The fact is, even after fiddling with the hint brushes, trying to simplify the model and compiling my arse off :) I have to face the truth. The fancy carriage has to go. The map comes first and as it's a CS map speed is everything. Bye bye carriage. (Maybe one day on the HL2 engine...)

It'd funny that the thing that probably originally inspired the map now has to go. The good thing is that without it, r_speeds are now at acceptible levels on pretty much most of the map.

I'll keep a copy of the 'fancy' map for private LAN play as it's fun breaking all the widows and stuff and trying to lock each other in the carriage and other silly stuff.

Well, I've spent a fair bit of time on de_tube this week. Mostly getting to grips with hint brushes. Think I can't be far from a 'releasable' map.
