If you've been following the forums, you'd know that a little Mini-compo has been progressing. The results for the latest one (design a hallway) have just been posted, so now would be a good time to take a look.

Certain mini-compo insiders tell me that TWHL users can expect more in the near future, so keep an eye out! Congratulations to the winners.

Excuse the delay with the competition results everyone: been rather busy lately. However, since there's been a delay, I'm planning a small treat for the results that'll be sure to please some of you.

Stay tuned!

Well, Half-Life is still kicking and TWHL is proving that: we have for you a brand new tutorial concerning the coding of fog in the Half-Life engine.

Thanks go out to Highlander, not only for the brilliant content, but the patience he exhibited while waiting for it to go up.

Check it out!

Up for some old-school HL1DM action? Sick of not finding servers? Orpheus, in conjunction with Muzzleflash, has organised a spot of Team DeathMatch on Muzz's HL1DM server.

This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a bit of aging fun with members of the HL mapping community, so I hope you all get a chance to jump on-board!

All details, including IP, rules and map rotation, can be found here.

Happy fragging!

Okay, there's a new competition. If we don't get many people entering this one, we'll stop bothering organising them, so get motivated.

Ok, first up, the Contact Us page is currently borked for reasons unknown, so until Alex gets around to fixing it, you may contact me should you need to.

Secondly, we'll have a new HL1 compo up soon. This may also be opened up to Source as well, but it hasn't been decided yet (you can pretty much bet that it will be). However, the new compo will probably start sometime soon next year, rather than cram it into what's left of this year.

On that note, have a great New Year everyone! See you in 2007.

The Funny Mapping competition is now open to entries for both Source- and HL-engine entries. See the competition page for details, or the forums to discuss it.
