that's okay - I forget what entity to use to make stationary beams work anyways, and like an ass I deleted my map vault entry for it.

Coolfat - steam is the only way I can really run my own server - but tonight I discovered that my brother-in-law doesn;t even know the login for his router, so opening the ports for the router is useless anyways.

I'm creating a modern prison camp, where you have to deactivate each "cell" to get to a weapon or suit... I want to use 6 beams for each cell entrance, with 6 other beans as a wall in between each cell - is there a way to use a multimanager to accomplish this or do I have to create all those env_beam ents?

I GOT MY ACCOUNT INFO FROM STEAM SUPPORT!

I was amazed they gave it to me with a new password.

Unfortunately it NOW makes no use because I cannot run any servers from my machine as I am behind a router which I do not know the login to... AND NIETHER DOES THE OWNER! (which I think he is lying, but I can;t prove it) :badass:

I have an example map called "simple sunlight" where I have a window with a "skybox" that contains a light_spot in it, with it targeted to an info_target inside the room. Once you look at this example map, and notice the comments under it, you'll see what was suggested.

For some reason the one suggestion isn't working...

Here is the original screenie with the "box"

Here is a screen shot of the new configuration...

And here is the "side" view in hammer of that configuration...

If anyone can shed some "light" on this problem you know I'd be appreciative, as this is my first example map ever and I refuse to give up on such a simple problem hehe.

Should guidelines really be involved JUST for a map?

I'd suggest a MOD, but I know nothing about MOD development... and from what I've read lately, it sounds somewhat complicated.

ROFL - footcrab? Interesting... I'd rather have my foot turn into a turret!

A serious question for anyone who would know.....

A fever spikes to about 101 (+/- a degree) every 4-6 hours... tylenol seems to reduce it, but then it's back... could that mean an infection?

Well, 32 hours after the surgery, I was released from the hospital. Had a few fevers, got some well deserved rest, ate some aweful food!!! (it must be a law)

I say that I THINK the surgery is a success because I have YET to speak with the doctor about it. But he felt confident to send me home the next day, so things must be really good!

I hope I'm back on my feet in a few months to play some PAINTBALL!

LEFT HAND HOLDS:
$35 a month for 2 years, you get all sorts of tools and "hands-on" materials. When you graduate, you get a key duplicating machine.

RIGHT HAND HOLDS:
A local school which does not supply materials, and you have to pay for tuition all at once (in excess of $3000)

My income right now can;t handle either - but I might be getting Social Security benefits soon

Well how about I ask this...

EducationDirect.Com wants to start me for $10 down, $35 a month for 26 months... I can finish the course as fast as I like, but don;t get my grauation materials till the amount is paid in full.

This is locksmithing courses which you get lockpicks, keyblanks, a tool kit, several different types of locs to study and prctice with, and even an LAB pinning kit!

I would go for it right now but I have NO INCOME !!!

Either that or a Veicle Competition, where they have to build anything from a plane, train, boat, or anything.

AAAARRRGGH!!!!!!

It used to be about 30 seconds, so all I do is check the MP3 about 60 sdeconds into it, save it, and move on. But today, GunS N Roses were doin a good job till that happened... it sounded WORSE than Axel Rose LOL

Ya know, I switched from WinMX to Kazaa Lite because WinMX just doesn;t seem to allow a good connection anymore... so now here I am faced with a more ANNOYING problem...

Anywhere from 30 seconds to almost to the end, you hear this loud, obnoxious, ear-drum piercing sound that I am SURE the person who shared the file put there.

Is this supposed to discourage people from downloading?
