You cannot allways decompile a map though. I had few cases when decompilers just crashed, and i couldn't help it.

You forgot to add that Black holes appear when a huge mass star runs out of fuel (>30 times the mass our Sun has). I wrote about the running out of hydrogen thingy above.
You have a very weird problem there stridey. It looks like a software problem to me. Maybe it's just your OS thaat is acting weird. Try installing it from other cd's. But i doubt that would help.
