yeah sounds like a good idea.
Make the ivy a func_illusionary
and under the ivy make a func_ladder in the same shape of the ivy, but have it flat against the wall..

That should work

Ok. I think you arent using your entities right.
The Counter-Terrorists will spawn from info_player_start entities.
Terrorists will spawn from Info_player_deathmatch entities.

Make the spawn area nice and neat. Have a grid of entities and seperate them by at least 8-16units on all 6 sides.
Also can I delete the spawn points at any time and replace them in deferent places?
What do you mean by that?

I think he might have made info_player_deathmatches instead of info_player_starts.

If you follow the hammer tutorial for the half life setup, the default point tntity class is an info_player_start.

maybe that was it.

Re-compiled and it works now.
So you DONT need to specify the filepath, only if its not in the valve folder i presume.

I just got rim's hl2 textures for hl1 (they're flipping awesome)
And when i want to do the -wadinclude halflife2

The compiler gives me an error at the end of the compile :

** Executing...
** Command: -wadinclude
** Parameters: halflife2
  • Could not execute the command:
-wadinclude halflife2
  • Windows gave the error message:
"Access is denied."
So... this means that the wad ISNT with the .bsp??

And also, does it only include the textures i used or does it include all of them?

(Rimrooks textures are 62mb ZIPPED)

I heard that a tested (and proven theory) that amino acids could've formed from a lightning bolt hitting water next to some gases. Like methane and nitrogen i think. The amino acids formed into cells. The cells became grouped into like.. ameobas and others.. And then the mitochondria stuff...

Well.. lighning and gas = life?

I like the asteroid theory also.

I have this book that explains everything in the galaxy. Its called 'Eyes into the universe" or something along the lines of that

(if you dont beleive me, check amazon.com)

Anyway i lent it to my friend but when i get it back, i can quote some things from the book for you guys. It explains a lot about mostly everything.?

Black holes, dark matter, quasars, redgiants, white dwarfs, novas super novas, light travel etc.. :glad:

reminds me of black holes again... black hole's gravity is so strong that light bends when passing anywhere near its center of mass.

Yeah i agree with Elon. Finding that Right balance is key. Skins can make a lower poly model look really good.

Personally i dont care for high-poly models. If they look half-way decent and are fun to blow up.

Will we be able to translate their language? (vica versa)
Will they be hostile?
Will WE be hostile?

Do they have a giant ship capable of wiping out all life on earth?

They probably do if they had the technology to get to our planet.

Then again, if you're so technologically advanced that you could hunt down our planet, find the means of travelling there, and actually arrive;

Personally i think they would be studying us.
