You used some textures which are to large. 256X256 is the highest texture size Half-Life can handle. 512*512 is also possible, but not with old videocards.

Either remove those texture, or resize them to a lower resolution.

I forgot to say this:

If that sound file is custom, make sure you send that wav with the map, if you're gonna give to other people. If it is a standard CS wav, you don't have to send the wav with the map.

Never browse for wav files, just add the folder name + the wav file. In your case:

ambience/boomer.wav

Add that line into your ambient_generic propties, under WAV.

Ow man, goddamn videocard! Im sorry for the delay, guys. But ill will be mapping very soon!

As for the moving searchlights:

You cannot have the light itself to move, its simply not possible, but you can make the actual lightbeam movable. The lightfixture itself should be a func_door_rotating, so it actually swings, like a real searchlight.

As for a playable bsp, its still a bit early.

I won't be able to map these days, because my videocard fan has passed away (RIP).

So, i got to wait for a new card. If everything goes well, i should have my new card this week.

I don't know who "Kimaru Jr" is, but i want him out of our team! I thought he was a nice dude and all, i talked to him about the mod etc etc, really cool ideas.
I don't know what is wrong with him today, but he acting pretty much hostile now.

If you can't be nice, and if you are gonna blame things on people that they did not done, you definitely won't be a great addition to the team.

The new ZHLT 3.0 comes with two dll files:

msvcp70.dll
msvcr70.dll

Make sure these files are in the same dir as the tools themselves, or they might not work propery.

Ok, the custom code is added. That includes:
  • Otis from OppFor.
  • Dynamically Resizing Models. (I needed that for my Chapter.)
  • Customizable HUD color. (Has nothing to do with the mod, its just a funny extra.)

@habboi: The ZHLT 3.0 works fine for me. I use it because it has switchable texture lighting, but it looks like ordinary light entities, so it needs some more tweaking.

What kind of bugs anyway?

Uhm. I don't quite get this: The Chapter 1 discription is this:

1. "Home sweet home." (Gordon is homesafe when he recieves a MESSEGE from doctor kleiner who informs him that the marines are holding hostages and using them for evil slave labour.)

So, I built a small map that looks like Gordons house, build somekind of home cumputer terminal, then make sure somekind of email message appears on the terminals screen, and thats it? And how should i connect this to the second chapter. Where should chapter 2 start?

All this is kindof unclear to me. :/

This happens when there are no nod files in the maps/graph dir. Happens a lot with custom maps, and only when those maps contain info_nodes.

When Half-Life detects there are no nod files in graph dir, it will automatically rebuild those nod files.
