I think we should confess. Ant and I are actually clones, exclusively arranged for the purpose of having twice the control of IRC compared to anyone else:

It's an idea. I'm not sure whether people would get trophies in their profiles for Source, though, without some new stuff from atom, and I don't know whether he'll do that.

I don't think so. I believe the player_start is only used for if the map is played in single-player, inadvertantly or otherwise. Try it?

Do you mean a replacement for the big lambda logo that (which?) people see when starting maps without -console? I think that's in cached.wad or something. It's been covered on a tutorial somewhere, possibly here, if not, Google.

All it is is a trigger_camera in a black box, with the houndeye following a path or script, and a custom texture or two. The bar itself is, I imagine, a train or door. It's not actually loading anything, but it looks great :).

Actually, I remember, Kasperg released the .RMF and .MAP anyway. I removed the .RMF from the unofficial result page download (very large) but the .MAP's still there, so you can have a look.

I don't think you use two sets of quote marks, Mr. B, as so:

bind kp_downarrow "sv_cheats 1"

Or, for example:

bind kp_downarrow "sv_cheats 1;noclip"

Which would execute those two consecutively. There's a "wait" command, too, which, suprise, waits for a moment before proceeding. The wait length is pretty short though, so you'll need several for anything useful.

You don't want an 8kHz sampling rate, you want at 11.03kHz for lip-synched speech, or 22.05kHz for better-quality ambient sound.
