You might be able to do something for the hostages with a trigger_x, if a "monsters only" field is available.

I'm sure it's possible. Tapping mat_fillrate 1 into the console does something vaguely reminiscent. I imagine some coding would be required, though.

If it's the same as it was in HL1 (can't see why they'd change it) trains must face West when being built, and rotated by your setting of the rotation of the path_corner.

Try a different build of the compile tools. My moderately informed guess is that that might be the tools actually building the lightmaps into the BSP. I seem to remember it's after the bulk of the lighting. If it isn't, then I don't know.

Of course. Admissably, it's not the best way (e-mailing files increases their size by about 30% due to the encoding) but I have no problem with it my end. If you want to get it here faster, you can try uploading to my FTP if my PC's on here.

For those of you who can't see the syntax or can't upload, log on to seventhmonkey.zapto.org with an FTP client (I recommend SmartFTP (freeware) and use the username "upload" and password "sendstuff". This will be far, far faster. Let me know by e-mail that you've sent it here or I might not notice.

If you send it to me directly, you don't need to fill in the form. I shall ensure that everything I receive is passed on to Anthony. Feel free to request a read receipt with any e-mails you do send.

PS: My server is up pretty much all of every day and evening, unless I'm playing anything online, in which case I close it.
