Then it could well take hours ? you haven't even started the lighting yet. At that rate it could well take a day or two. What spec is your PC?

I think textures are always applied to new faces at 100%x100%. You could clone the brushes instead by shift-dragging them, if that helps.

Well, you are using a fairly old version of the compile tools. I suggest you get 3.2 from, at the moment, the News page.

Is the map large, complex, or, ahem, poorly designed?

Good idea from Hunter there, I think the commands are "sizeup" and "sizedown". Try changing resolution around, too.

Those textures aren't very big, I doubt they'd be causing compile errors. They're less than 256x256 by my maths.

linkz0r: are you saying you waited for longer than three mins and it worked?

I see, you're placing them using a monster_generic or cycler? I suggest you type in the path manually, in the form models/model.mdl.

Or up the graphics memory. I mean, there really aren't that many people who have 4MB of memory for their graphics. Up it to 8 (refer to zhlt.info).

Not necessarily, might be a bug in the Q-tools that you still appear to be using, a misreported error from the ancient tools, or a little mistake somewhere. Really, use ZHLT.
