Character movement is usually the biggest give-away for CGI, when its a physically impossible feat then no matter how well they try to keyframe it, it always looks unrealistic. Saying that, where there is little movement involved like in the final part of spiderman 2 where dococ falls away into the water, I was completely unaware the ENTIRE scene was CGI, I honestly thought it was a greenscreen character with cgi elements.

And to be honest if you cant tell the difference between CGI and Actual footage (which, granted, is getting more and more difficult these days) there is somthing wrong with youWhy? Only someone who has ever done 3d modelling and knows what to look for can really tell that something is unreal, that or because the scene would be impossible to do in real life. Theres a lot of times in the movies where they have actually done a scene on green screen and I thought it was entirely CGI rendered so you have to give them some credit.

I used to make crazy maps like this for tfc, it was a challenge to make something original though as everyone was doing it. Frogger wasnt easy to program for multiplayer!
