Crumpets~ 256MB is an improvement, but if your card sucks, then it doesn't really matter, since you'll be lagging in games anyway. 512MB cards are only utilized in extremely detailed enviroments, which make heavy use of high-res textures and shaders.

Catalyst drivers are bad. Alot of professional 3DMark benchers still use 3.2 for performance reasons.

Just a suggestion, on the emoticons, spread em out a bit so they fit into 2 rows. It will look easier on the eyes. 
Snpbond, it's not the card, it's more likely the OS, or even more likely the drivers. ATi are known for shitty drivers, but they have superior hardware in every way. Look how little transistors the X800 has, yet it kicks the crap out of the 6800 GT/Ultra. If ATi made decent drivers, they might do alot better, especially if they made decent GNU/Linux X drivers, their current ones suck for performance, although, I have no complaints about their stability. FSAA and FSAF functions work perfectly, they are just very slow.
Pff, ATi make superior cards. nVidia are the Intel of the graphics world. Their chips have an unneccesary amount of transistors, put out lots of heat, and have monsterous power requirements.
X800XT PE, although I would wait for ATi Crossfire boards to be released, dual X900 action!

I use Xemacs for editing. It's not bloated, I prefer to call it "feature rich".
I know that. I'm not a retard, no matter what you think. But if you want to make your own site, you should learn HTML and CSS first, otherwise you'll get nowhere. The PHP underneath your site may be complex, but it's output is simple HTML. I am perfectly aware it is powered by PHP and MySQL. Calling people "fucking gimp, gay asshole fuck head" isn't very intelligent. So I am not even sure you have the mental capacity to learn. My advice (after you learn remedial English so solve your grammar/spelling difficulties, and attend an anger management class to combat your severely unstable temper), is to learn HTML. Followed by CSS. Then, learn PHP, followed by MySQL. If you cannot do that, I am afraid you are on your own.
Seventh-Monkey, yes, that is it's "peak" power. The PSU on my dual-6800 system is an 850w PCP&C which can peak at 1kw. It's a bit overkill, but yes.
I think Atom has his own server now though. He said ages ago about putting TWHL on a new server.
